Chargeback Policy

READ THIS BEFORE YOU DISPUTE A CHARGE. If anything is ever wrong with your order, anything at all, email info@toastedthemosted.com first. A human will respond fast and make it right. Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us is treated as fraud, and we respond to fraud with everything we have.
1. We fix problems. Fast.
Wrong item, damaged package, missing product, order never arrived: we replace it or refund it, usually the same day you reach us. There is no scenario where disputing the charge with your bank gets you a better or faster outcome than one email to us. Our Refund Policy exists precisely so you never need your bank involved.
2. What counts as a fraudulent chargeback
- Disputing a charge for an order that carrier records show was delivered to your address.
- Claiming an order was "unauthorized" after you passed our age gate, agreed to our terms and this policy at checkout, and accepted delivery.
- Disputing a charge without ever contacting us to resolve the issue.
- Claiming non receipt while tracking, delivery confirmation, and GPS scan data say otherwise.
3. What happens when you file one
Every order in our system preserves a complete evidence file. When a chargeback is filed, we submit all of it to the card network, including:
- Your explicit checkout agreement to the Terms of Use and this Chargeback Policy, with timestamp.
- Your full order details, the shipping address you provided, and your age attestation.
- USPS tracking history, delivery confirmation, and carrier GPS scan data.
- Device, browser, and network metadata associated with the purchase.
- Our complete correspondence history, including the absence of any attempt to contact us.
We contest every illegitimate dispute, without exception, and we win the overwhelming majority of them.
4. The consequences are permanent
- Lifetime ban. Your name, address, email, and payment fingerprint are permanently blocked from ordering with us again.
- Fraud database reporting. Fraudulent disputes are reported to industry chargeback and fraud prevention databases used by thousands of merchants.
- Debt collection. If a dispute is upheld on an order we can prove was delivered, the amount owed plus dispute fees may be referred to a collection agency.
- Legal action. We reserve every right to pursue civil remedies for friendly fraud to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Legitimate disputes
If your card was genuinely stolen or the charge is truly unrecognized, contact us immediately at info@toastedthemosted.com with the subject "Unauthorized Charge." We investigate every claim within 1 business day, and if the charge is genuinely fraudulent we refund it ourselves. No bank dispute needed.
6. Your agreement
Every checkout requires you to explicitly confirm that you have read and agree to this policy. That agreement is recorded with your order and forms part of the evidence file described above.
